Is Forte running under WINE?
I wish I could figure out how to work WINE. I'm looking to build my own DAW, and the prospect of having to use either Vista or XP makes me sick to my stomach.

Yes, it's working with wine, but XP is still the best to run it with.
This is in a very experimental stage, and you will have a lot of trouble currently. There's a lot of stuff in wine that still needs to be ironed out.
But at least we'll be learning something for now... ;)
