This guitar lesson is part 3 of Rock Guitar Solo Basics. In this video, I demonstrate how to combine the rock scale with the minor scale when soloing ( Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin did this often ). If you have any questions please message me. Also, I have a new guitar lesson website with 50 of my guitar videos on it, covering most topics:

  • uhm, the pentatonics are well known as the blues and rock scales. probably due to the mellow sound of the minor it's frequently used in Blues. in addition, due to major's brightness, is naturally found in rock.
