Tom Tom Magazine's Portland TV Crew (Jodi Darby & Elizabeth Venable) interviewed Lauren K Newman (LKN) of Palo Verde at the second annual PDX Drum Fair. This was the second annual edition of the fair. Local drum shops Rhythm Traders and Revival invited local drum makers, cymbal makers, and other drum-related organizations and businesses to set up shop at the fair for the day; the event also featured a stellar lineup of drum-focused performance. Palo Verde was definitely one of the highlights of the day, as LKN's slaying beats drew attendees focus to the stage. Many thanks to Revival Drum Shop and Rhythm Traders for inviting Tom Tom Magazine to take part in the festival! We tabled at the event all day and made many new friends in the Portland drum community.
