I assume by flamepoint you mean what we used to call red point in the Uk, lovely cats but they seemed to be notorious for developing serious health problems.

I had 2 from reputable breeders with different sires for at least 3 generations that ended up being put to sleep, one with a brain tumor and the other with an intussusception, i know of others as well. I stuck with lilac points after that, used to breed chocolate and lilac mixed litters. Still miss my little redheads though.

@gordongate yes, I imagine a flame point is what we call red point. I bet you do miss them, that all sounds very tragic. Dexter is about twelve now and, apart from some teeth problems, is in good health. I never thought I'd have a siamese, I thought them rather ugly! But dexter has won me over and I realize that their character makes them so special. My other cat was a lilac point Birman. Thanks for your comment.

yes, lol im sorry, thats the correct name for them. 3 siamese are very interesting lol. i had 1 and wanted only 1 more, but my other 2 were a brother and sister duo that had to remain 2gether, so i ended up with 3 meezers lol. evryday is entertaining !

@BlueEyedsweety79 You must get no peace! I never wanted a Siamese. I had Emily, a Birman (see my other videos) but Dexter needed a home so I took him on. I'm glad I did, so affectionate, intelligent and so so talkertive! He asks to go for a walk and follows me like a dog for miles.

@BOTDFrocks11 I was sure I was correct in my guessing he's a Flame Point. Thanks for backing me up on that! Yes, they're very, very, rare indeed. I too had one, when I was about 16. I called him "Opus". Such beautiful meezers. :)
