    @RollaArtis, I agree. This "resonance" thing, at least in this watch, is B.S.!

    .

    Hopefully the factory can come clean with its customers.

    @EyesExplode No one has ever explained to me how the resonance is tranferred through the main plate to the other balance when this motion is not around the axes of BOTH balances as it needs to be. Breguet made the first clock with a double pendulum, both suspended one in front of the other on a common suspension arm through which the motion of one was transmitted to the other. This worked well by all accounts. But this watch? I don't think so, its all B*******

    @EyesExplode,

    Would you please explain how moving the balances close to eachother has anything to do with vibration? It would appear to have more to do with boundary layer wind resistance than anything else.

    Hmmm, okay, I could be wrong -

    .

    Yes, it appears that one whole side does move (one can see the cutaway in the main plate) for the purposes of making the balances nearly touch. Perhaps they HAVE come up with a way to have the balances synchronize - and my guess is that it has more to do with boundary-layer wind resistance between the edges of the two balances than anything else.

    .

    But "vibrating"? I don't see how that would work.

    @RollaArtis, EyesExplode hasn't a clue what he's talking about. All that can be seen here is a watch with two balances, which when regulated closely, appear to be in "resonance".

    .

    The tripe about the balances moving together and the whole watch vibrating are utter hogwash.

    Nice idea, but surely the 'resonance' can only work if the balances are placed on top of each other and not side to side?
