    to all of you who have or who will watch the clips of my father John Jacob Niles please be assured that he was my BIOLOGICAL father. His high voice does not in any way indicate that he was "missing anything." Trust me, everthing was there.

    You must be incredibly proud John. Your father was clearly an inspiration to so many and consequently changed the world. How much should not be under-estimated!

    For heaven's sake, does anybody bother with that nonsense nowadays? Your father was (and remains) a wonderful artist. We are blessed to have had him with us for awhile.

    I heard John Jacob Niles sing at UKy for his 75th birthday celebration. That event poster is framed and on my mantel. Wonderful, wonderful. What a gift to the world he was. Nayna in Baltimore
