What do soft westerners expect; he's from Soviet Siberia! That he lived to survive is about the only "happiness" those dear ones ever have, but I've heard he's a loving husband, and daddy to his two kids, most important.

it's just for fun: one "theory" says that the tenor is the lover in the opera but that the bass (and baritone) gets the girls at the end of the show.
