God, I LOVE this series. I grew up on this stuff.

I hate remakes but at least because of the new "V" the original miniseries was released onDVD.

Just picked it up, along with the original miniseries and The Final Battle.

Ah what memories! Long live the 1980's!~

Sorry but if any one watched "film" in 1983 it didnt take long to realise how dumbed down this mini series and its sequal were. This is a great example of the average TV garbage which helped make HBO Showtime (and for those in LA) The Z Channel such a refreashing success. The direction and most of the acting is highschool (no offence meant to high school drama prod.) level at best. And the script is completely pedestrian. The end of the sequal is one of the worst. MST3K material!!

@melfaery yeah but in this serie they dont need water they need A.D.N and what abaut diana in the dungeon and the story is a lot diferent ( A LOT)

@mrwertyuiop459 It's a remake. In original it was revealed to all of Earth the aliens were there only to steal the water & eat them. Why would they come back & still have people who think accepting their charitable acts is a good idea? Every country would've aimed a nuke at the first ship they saw after the first visit lol
