i thought those came into canada from australia not japan

  • The report said that if a car is not older than 15, a duty is payable. In fact, no duty is payable because the car is illegal in Canada. I was thinking of getting one of these in Toronto but they only have carbs, no fuel injection, so starting them in the cold would be problematic in winter time. As a kid, I went through many trials trying to start an older carburettor vehicle in the winter.

  • There were some factual discrepancies in the report. Cars 15 years old and older are subjected to a duty of 6.1% as well as an excises tax on air conditioners at $100.00 per vehicle.

  • hot! Awesome Pete!!
