Okay I have fallen off of my in home workouts the past 2 months...done some treadmill but not too much other than focusing on nutrition. Would this be a good thing to jump back into right away? I am new to kettle bells... have a weak core...but size 2 and 5'3 in height...what weight would you recommend? I LOVE Intense workouts - is it intense? How would you describe how you feel while doing it?
@aannttrrooss Given your height and weight, I'll recommend a 16 kg kettlebell. Unless you're principally after long flow and cardio workouts lighter weights will be of lesser benefit. I also recommend you to transition to 24 kg as soon as possible for ballistic exercises and keep 16 kg for static ones such as Turkish get up.
@aannttrrooss I would say, depending on your overall fitness, a 12kg would be a decent place to start. 12kg is about 26lbs. A 16kg would be close to 35lbs. I use a 12kg for much of my rehabs work (ACL reconstruction) and it gets me breathing hard.
