  • if drivers are equal, revo will pull on apr all day

  • not necessarily, but in some cases its true.

  • and the way they have made the gti is not bad but you are gonna need to buy every thing at once! example i got a chip in it than my divertive valve blu up. i got now have an after market 300 dollar diivertive valve! spark plugs need to be changed from the stock, the plednum bolt or u call the engine mount bolt will brake if you get a 6 speed gti! and you will have lots of fuel problems us with the chip u need fuel injector and a fuel pump!

  • you dont need fuel injectors for fuel problems. if you experience fuel cuts get a fuel pump that usually fixes the fuel cut problem.

  • if it happens again, see about going to APR they are good, you may need a new ecu tho :s

  • he means you could have the A version of the intake cam shaft. The lobe that operates the Fuel pump is one piece and tends to fail under lots of hard driving. The B version of the CAM or cam shaft is a two piece design and holds up tons better! If it happens again ask the dealer to check which version cam you have.

But make sure you put your car back into stock mode before you do. They will deny your warranty claim if they find your revo chip.

  • what does CAM stand for?

  • You could have the old version CAM...

  • i've got a revo in my mkv gti and twice now i've had to take it into the shop (in 9 months) for an engine light problem, both related to the fuel pressure thing. this time they put in a new fuel pump and pressure sensor and stuff (note this is a brand new car, i've had it for less than a year) hopefully it wont happen again :x

  • Fuel cuts havent been reported to be that bad, and a new fuel pump would fix the problem. whether than going through all this bullshit, just get GIAC or Unitronic, and get an aftermarket diverter valve, turbo-back exhaust (if you have the money) and a boost gauge just to make sure your k03 isn't pushing over 20

  • this is a real race the kid just happened to let off the gas after we entered 4th gear cause i was already pulling away from him. check out the other race.
