  • I have no idea what´s going on here, but I feel I need to see this movie now.

  • They were trying to deal with the world hunger problem. The idea was that they would drop the watermelons from a plane, they *wouldn't* break, but still be eatable (and slicable) when they got on the ground.

  • Board-a the ship and-a prepare for crosscheck!

  • Buckaroo Banzai, the Man Who Fell to Earth, and Night of the Living Dead are ALL Required Viewing for "consideration"

  • But before later could come he needed a green card and ended up working for a lad by the name of Tony Montana. He met his fate in a botched drug deal via Chainsaw to the face. Meanwhile Jeff never found out why the watermelon was in the room. It drove him to madness. He invented a teleportation pod based on a theory that it's the only way the watermelon could of in fact got there. He worked feverishly to get his device to work. It ... didn't go so well.

  • It was a scene done purposely to see if the studio was paying attention since the abandoned the project but still financed it just to finish it.

  • The DVD will tell you WHY the watermelon is in the drill press...

  • @larodem Yes. Yes you do.
