Yep, originally the cats seen in this video were all strays.
The black and white Tuxedo cat--with perfectly balanced markings--is "Prancer."
He's able to open every door in the house, even the antique ones! He opens, and the others all follow.
The vocal rendition on this video is one of 20 found on "Songs of the Cat," a one-CD release by RCA Victor. This particular tune is performed by the popular "Prairie Home Companion" star, Garrison Keillor.
