  • Have you noticed any negative effects after doing this ?

  • @jstratton55 not really. at first I thought it may have lost a little power but pretty unnoticable. Plugs show its burning properly and there are no idle or computer issues.

  • Lets race, I have a GSXR 1000! LOL!

  • @TheRonaldo666 ... u ever compete before? Rider skills and nerve have a lot to do with racing.

  • has the performence changed from the baffle removal?

  • @Katjump

I would say yes, it has decreased some power. it took a week or so before i started to notice the difference.

  • did u accompany this mod with changing/adding more air to the box?

  • @kjblack89 I stand corrected I only had to take out 2 bolts from each pipe and the baffle came right out :D and I was done in about 30 seconds

  • @kjblack89 comes from your catalytic converter. Also the back pressure is not gonna rune your engine it just will not run 100% perfect. No permanent damage.

  • Thanks for the vid this is very helpful. I will be doing this to my 05 Dyna low-rider come this Saturday. Only problem I am expecting is having trouble removing the baffle completely due to my slip-on's are welded on. :( I will get it tho its all about patience and not expecting to be done in 30 minutes. For those who say removing the baffles are bad on the engine you are wrong wrong wrong. The purpose of your baffle is not for back pressure but to deflect the sound. 90% of your back pressure

  • I just modded my 2008 Nightster with 37,000 miles on it. I love the sound. I have noticed a slight shift in the torque curve, but absoultely no problems. Thank you very much.

  • If you are concerned about having lost power or running lean, you should take bike to a dyno test. They will measure your exhaust gases whilst measuring your power and you will have CO mixture data as well as HP and torque numbers. Generally you get more power from removing baffles, and a weaker mixture. Most people would wish to make it richer afterwards to compensate.

  • Has it activated the "check engine" light?

  • How it should have sounded off the show room floor this should be titled haha

  • @norskyver LOL!

  • So now your ceiling and shelves in your garage are dust free?..lol
