Carl and Ryan (from saabhistory.com) discuss the importance of the 2010 Saab 9-5 in the premium segment and the future of the company as a whole in light of the withdrawal of Koenigsegg Group AB from the purchase of Saab Automobile AB.

Spyker Cars N.V. ended up buying Saab a month after this video was made, but it's still scary to look back and see how uncertain times were.

  • I'm here to watch 2010 9-5 model, not an old crap

  • SAAB = Still Alive And Breathing !

  • Whatever happened to Ryan? The SaabHistory Facebook page hasn't been updated since something like June. Neither has the Youtube page. I always liked reading/seeing his stuff.

  • Thank goodness GM no longer have their cheap hands on SAAB, I have a Black 97/98 9 5 and I love it, I think my SAAB/SCANIA still looks good today :) My mum has a 2008 Linear and the interior is not a patch on mine, the dash IS cheap and the speaker vents have buckled etc etc. Welcome back SAAB :)

  • did you buy a new car or waiting for the new 9-5?

  • Interest coments Ryan, I din't saw it on the blog. Can't wait to drive the new one! Long live Saab!

  • At the time I wrote that comment it was on life support and GM was making funeral arrangements. Let's hope Spiker is strong enough to keep SAAB going.

  • SAAB isn't dead..
