ok. I do understand this, but then I think that it is easy to stay positive when our situations are okay. What to do if we look at people on the street, little children born into homelessness and literally living on the street. How to uplift people in that situation?

I think everything happens as a cause and effect and not because of a divine or spiritual reason. However as an ex-optimist I am trying to get back a more positive outlook. You have a great viewpoint on life and your videos have been helpful to me, Thanks

the more we complain about things the more we send out a vibration of desire for what we really want. Here it is: How to change your state of mind
1.recognize when you feel bad
2.recognize what made you feel that way
3.Ask yourself, " does this feel good?"
4.If not, Ask " what would make me feel good"(the opposite of what made you feel bad)
5. Take a moment to visualize yourself in the perfect scenario having all go the way you want it to.
6. Hold this vision then repeat
do this with everything

how about not allowing words like horrible and negative frustrated slippery slopes etc in our vocabulary. I'm glad GeraldP1983 gave his thoughts. Heres the deal. knowing that contrast exists and is what causes us to desire to be who we really are. the reason why it seems all bad is because most people are not aligned really. They are not STAYING consciously aware. Any discord is an attempt on the part of the experiencer to be happy. I disagree with your statement "I just dont know".

Wise words, Gerald. Thank you for this video. :-)

Good thoughts, Gerald. Especially your words on the ten dollars with a pure intention versus the billion. The real values are the least tangible; their effects are subtle but touch others far and wide.

i've found that watching your videos and just simply listening to the sound of your voice expedites a resting heart rate
I'd like to hear your thoughts on why you propose that everything happens for a reason. I think that such a mindset can be very useful in terms of provoking spiritual growth. However, I can't really say that I'm convinced that events in our lives provoke such spiritual insights by design. Any event in life can be seen as an invitation to a good mindset and growth, but personally, I couldn't say, "The reason I got sick was to take it as a learning experience."
Peace and gratitude,
Mike
