ESCAPADE (1978)
Super-slack, even by pilot standards, attempt at an American version of THE AVENGERS produced by Quinn Martin. Though written by Brian Clemens (tut-tut), some silhouettey/champagney/monkey suit malarkey in the title sequence aside, there's little Avengers-ish about it. Van Dusen has about as much charm as David Birney on Valium and Morgan Fairchild can't even rise to the challenge of clothes hanger/totty.
