The U.S. Agriculture Department says widespread flooding in the U.S. Midwestern states has destroyed thousands of acres of farm land. It has also sent the price of corn sharply higher -- to more than seven dollars a bushel - up from four dollars this time last year. Economists say consumers are likely to feel the impact of flooded corn fields on their already shrinking wallets. VOA's Mil Arcega reports.
