A quick tutorial I will be submitting to Indy Mogul for building a side mount for your camera that you can attach to your bicycle. It makes for a cheap dolly and for a cool riding rig.

  • I'm going to build a similar item with an additional image stabilization using rubber or sponge. Any ideas how to do it?

  • A rubber disc between any two metal points on the device should reduce the vibration to some degree.

  • Great idea! thanks :)

  • My tripod mount hole in the bottom of the camera eventually stripped out. I did the same thing almost and came across your vid this morning. Mine worked great for a while but those PLASTIC holes that you screw into on the bottom of your camera were NOT built for the vibrations that it will receive. :(

  • very smart, thank you for helping out

  • Dude you rock. Thank you so much for sharing!

  • This is a great explanation. Thanks for producing the video.

  • Nice mount..excellent idea. I have yet to see if this would hold upto my Kodak..since I have had 3 cameras already destroyed by similar mounts. Its best to use your helmet and put a mount on there if your using a digital camera.
