yes it can, study on sahara desert, every 25 million years it becomes a FLOOD! proven in Earth Sci., and then the pitch and tilt of the Earth makes the climate change again and it dry's out been proven .. what is happen to day is from 150 years ago.. today we are doing much better in SOME things.. most crap found in OUR upper Atmosphere is coming from ASIA! that is new news... SO saying USA is doing it BS its China, India, etc.. plus the Underwater Volcanoes are very active right now!

@Mesina2 Read news from January 12, 2010 - Gravity data collected from space using NASAs Grace satellite show that Antarctica has been losing more than a hundred cubic kilometers (24 cubic miles) of ice each year since 2002. The latest data reveal that Antarctica is losing ice at an accelerating rate, too. (NASA article "Is Antarctica Melting?")

@canectar Only problem is, that today's climate change can't be explained by any normal earth cycles.
