Unwrapping New MacBook - My First Mac

MacBook Review
Bought in March 2008, this is the newest model with the upgraded intel core 2 duo 2.4Ghz and 2GB RAM standard issue. This by far the best value for the money if you are looking for a new laptop. The fact that it can run Windows also makes it twice the machine and there is every feature necessary for regular users such as USB, webcam, video output, audio output, bluetooth, firewire and DVD burner. The screen is a little small to substitute a desktop so use an external monitor if you are at the desk most of the time. I connect it to my 42" HDTV and play games in Windows and it is very fast. The only drawback for games is that the 3D rendering must be set to low for best performance. If you never want to buy a laptop againand have the extra cash then upgrade to the MacBook Pro. Also my new MacBook has fantastic battery life.

That's false. Nothing happens to the HD.  The same would be true about original iPods but thats not the case.

maybe will sound stupid, but the first time i held a my i didnt know it existed...i man just brought computer here to the dominican to sell them and i took that grey one the only on in the group. i just turned it on (it was used) and when i saw that dock and that keyboard lighted on i was like wow this rock. and when i asked him for the power-cord and i saw how was it it was amazing. it was the 17 inches 2008 macbook pro. and i started my mac love after that. i know how u felt man. AWASOME

@oceandigital Actually it isn't false. By moving you laptop while running you make your HD move too. Hard drivers are sensitive and if you shake or move them hard them can make the Accuator Arm to get stuck or to break or even make the Head to screw the magnetic disk up. This will make your HD to be useless and you'll lost all your data. And believe, apple branded HDs aren't cheap at all....
