I loved this song when this came out. I was maybe 14 or 15 singing it all the time not knowing the real meaning to it. Who was Betty Grable? "Junk" "Angel" wow lyrical amazement!!

Just like the King must die, 60 years on, ticking, I feel like a bullet (in the gun of robert ford), sweet painted lady, etc., most of his best music never got heard.
