Tennis Ball Bot

This autonomous tennis ball picking up robot was both built and programmed by K. Monakhova using a Botball kit and Interactive C (IC). It detects and follows a tennis ball with the use of its camera. A sonar sensor is used to determine the distance from the bot to the ball. Once the bot is in range, it picks up the tennis ball and dumps it in a basket on its back using two servos. As soon as five balls have been picked up, the bot looks for a red object, goes to it, stops, and waits for further instructions.

It probably could pick up Botboy, but that would defeat the whole purpose of it being a "Tennis Ball Bot"

Hello botgirl314, We are a group of 4 students about 18yo and we are working on a robot which picks up tennis ball. The last week we've seen your video "Tennis Ball Bot" and we would ask you about some subjects if you will : - Is the robot self acting or radio-controlled - About the programming, who is K. Monakhova ? - Do you own a schematic of the bot ?
