The meaning of this song is not easily grasped. The lyrics, written by Jay chou's good friend is deep and traditional. To understand, you first go into chinese culture language is the first step.
In Chinese culture, the Qing hua ci, or the porcelain vase you see is a highly priced item. To create the right shade of blue, the vase has to be made at a certain time of the year due to the environment. He is describing a woman he loves and their predicament,

This music is simply....beautiful. Great combination between Chinese pentatonic and Jay Chou's style of composition. He's a genius. I'm learning Mandarin, can anyone post the transalation please. :)
