I just love your video...finished my first sock ever, I would like to make a sock for adults .Where can i find a chart that tells me how many stitches to cast on for different shoe sizes?

@christiane37124 Hi Christiane - the patterns you see for socks here are all for adult women, so no modification is necessary. I do have one pattern for girl's socks on my website (verypink.com), but all the rest are for adults. Different shoe sizes do not require a different number of cast-on stitches...just knit the sock longer for a bigger women's foot. If you are knitting a sock for a woman with a wide foot, just go up a needle size or two to give yourself a looser gauge.

@verypinkknits Thank you for your reply.actually I meant how many stitches would I need if I where to use thinner socks yarn?? Do you have a chart on your web page.I have learned a lot from you and your video. I just love it. Jim actually on my 3 pair right now..and just thing 2 weeks a go I did not even know how to do that. Thank you
Christiane

@christiane37124 Oh - I understand your question now. Once you complete the socks from the video, you can use any cuff-down sock pattern you like! That's the point of working with heavier yarn and bigger needles first. You get the skills, then move on to tiny needles and thin yarn. If you go on Ravelry.com, you'll see that there are hundreds of patterns for you to choose from, and you have the skills to work them now.
