@CSnakeV I'm pretty sure you have never fired an AR-15. I shoot left and right and simply hitting the bolt lock is more efficient than having to lose your check weld to put the charging handle back. Why waste time and extra movement when there is a more efficient way right there.

@chaungo id disagree, im a marine rifleman and ive found that hitting the bolt catch is far more efficient, even when operating in sub-zero temperatures. its easier to miss the charging handle, plus it requires more movement which makes it slower. just slap that bitch with the palm of your hand. its hard as fuck to miss. even if you lose your whole hand slap it with your nub.
