Voorjaar in Nederland. Van maart tot ver in mei staan de bollenvelden in bloei. Jaarlijks komen meer dan 800.000 bezoekers uit alle windstreken naar de Keukenhof. Op het 32 hectare grote parkwerden ruim 7,5 miljoen bloembollen met de hand geplant. In prachtig aangelegde velden zijn krokussen, narcissen, tulpen, hyacinten, lelies en andere bolgewassen te zien. Een uniek park, met een ongeevenaarde bloemenpracht , vol kleur en geur. De film toont de spectaculaire bloementapijten, de verschillende waterpartijen en een selectie van de 150 gevarieerde kunstwerken die werden geplaatst in de grootste bloembollentuin ter wereld.
