What Happens During a 10 to 12 Week Abortion (Not Graphic)

All too often women who seek abortions are not given information about embryonic or fetal development and are not shown their ultrasound images. Women deserve to know exactly what they are undertaking when opting to have an abortion. This video shows women what is too often hidden or ignored.
7-14 days after conception- Cells multiply and become specialized for muscular, neural, reproductive, skeletal, digestive, and circulatory functions.
20 days- Eyes start to form
22 days- Heart begins to beat
23 days- Central nervous system begins to develop
4 weeks- Skeleton forms and muscles develop, arms and legs begin to form
5 weeks- Nose and mouth form
6 weeks- Brain waves can be recorded
8 weeks- All organs are present, complete, and functioning (except lungs- they follow a little later)
8-10 weeks- Body is completely formed. Responds to touch, fingers and toes defined, has permanent fingerprints, baby can suck thumb
8-13 weeks- The child's sex can be distinguished
11-12weeks- Finger and toenails form, the child can make all facial expressions. All organ systems are working, the baby can feel pain
15 weeks- "Fluff" appears on the baby's head, also has visible eyebrows, eyelashes
16 weeks- Mother can feel the baby move, heart pumps six gallons of blood per day, very rapid growth. Can have REM (dream) sleep
18 weeks- the child is now "complete," needing only more time to grow.
22 weeks- Mother can feel the baby hiccup
20-24 weeks- If born this young, the child could survive outside the womb

Rats kill some of their offspring because their offspring is either weak or the mother wouldn't be able to care about so many. It's a purely natural process. And some people who think they have a special place on the planet(eg. Religion) seem to forget that:

Life is a process;

Humans are animals too, there is no "Human Kingdom" in biology;

Nature is a dictatorship, if you fight it you only end up in a pile of shit(figuratively speaking)

wow never knew this much about what happend... there should be an 18 year or younger can NOT get an abortion so people who didnt have a choice and were forced to get an abortion wouldnt live their lives with the pain that their baby is for ever gone and the only memorie is of the little guy kicking all happy in an ultrasound before he is torn from the mother who loves him...

Evidently you are not in a terrible bind.

Your baby is not (so far as you yet know) genetically damaged or developmentally impaired.

It isn't addicted to chemicals and you have a sufficient support group in your family and friends.

You have much to be thankful for and no right to judge those with huge problems in their lives.

I chose to abort my baby, not because I didn't have support but because I couldn't financially handle it. Nobody told me anything about my baby, no facts, they didn't show me pictures...nothing. At 3 months she was taken. Afterwards they told me it was a girl. How could they do that to me?! Not a day goes by that I don't regret doing it. I'm depressed, I gained weight, I sometimes pretend I'm still pregnant because I can't cope with the fact that she's gone. I love you baby Jezebel <3

I was made to have an abortion at 11 and a half weeks, by then partner,the hospital told me it was a bundle of cells ..., if had been shown the baby i wouldnt have agreed

The way to avoid this problem is to use protection , or wait until you are in the position to actually bring a child into this world
