The ID law is ALL ABOUT fraud. Despite your un-named "right wingers" who supposedly stated it is aimed at minorities and poor (can you support THAT claim?), that is not true.

School ID's are not valid becse not issued by state or fed gov'ts.

@InvestigatorDave Because it excludes a majority of people from voting. Nearly half of South Carolina for instance. The ID law isn't about fraud. Look at whose pushing it and the geographical location, and the frequent reasonings of right wingers. Some have out right stated its aimed at the students, minorities, and poor. Some people can't even afford to pay the $15 for a state ID when they have other needs. Besides why aren't school ID's valid?

@get50007 Umm I don't know if you realize that people hide guns all the time. Most people who kill people with guns tend to hide their plan unless it is an "in the moment of passion" action. You rob a bank, you hide the gun. You plan to go kill your girlfriend, you hide the gun. Gun laws at least give cops the right to prevent violance if they see someone carrying a weapon that they plan to use. EVERY journalist make emotional appeals and spins you dope.
