What a HIT!!! Kessel gets leveled, comes back and finishes the game with 10 shots on net. Not bad for the first game.

I was at this game, and as a Lightning fan, I was proud. Kessel had his head down and Ohlund caught him clean. It was one of those hits where the entire building stands up from the sheer noise. But like I said, it was clean, and it was kinda funny that Phil Kessel's first game as a Leaf is highlighted by a big-time hit lol.

@600etecXRS I know what you mean but thats why liek I liek the fighting aspect of hockey. It allows teams to stick up for their top guys and let other teams know that if you fuck with certain guys prepare to be fucked up. You may not like it and it may slow the game down but what kind of message would the leafs be sending if they just did nothign after this hit? It be blood in the water.They also dont have luxury of instant replay to know if hit was clean or not they just see team mate on ice

Laff fans. Phyllis franchise kessel ( lol) is pretty much that when the going gets tough. So laff fans when the laffs make the playoffs (never), d men will target him and sit his ass down.
