Spirit of Washington Train, Part Two
On June 8, 2007 I shot video of the Spirit of Washington, a dinner train, that runs from Renton to Woodinville, Washington. It uses rare F-unit locomotives. The track it runs on is due to be removed. They ran two Spirit trains on June 8, including a lunch charter train for employees of T-mobile. The Quicktime movie is the train after it left Renton. This video focuses on the train in Woodinville, Washington. This Track Warrants Video follows part one, previously released.
Most people wont remember...but for a while...the didn't run the Es. They had some old GE's in the lead for a while. Freight locos, painted like the Es.

It's wonderful that they have the financial ability to continue to support such a wonderful project. It's tremendously expensive, and labor intensive to undertake a project like this, and they should be commended. And you should be commended on a fabulous video...THANKS!...Doc
and they should be
