@knadsk wow. i'm really sorry to hear that. I was diagnosed with coat's disease 3 days ago as my vision got blurry literally over 3 days. it turned out in that time my retina had detached and im going into laser treatment in a few hours. ><

I'm very sorry to hear what happened to Joey. I completely agree with you with the standard of care being neglected. I was diagnosed with coat's disease in 2005. In 2004 my left eye became slightly blurry. My regular eye doctor said it was nothing to worry about. Almost 5 years, and 14 surgeries later, I'm 99% blind in my left eye with strabismus and a perminantly blown pupil. Glad to hear someone's getting the word out, because until it happens to you or at home, noone will ever hear about it.
