Very odd way of comparing western and asian architecture, showing a scene from new york or something and then an old classical building in china..

Western architecture rarely favored height a thousand years ago. And tall amazing skyscrapers are more common in china these days than in many other countries in the west.

I'd say we all favor height today.

@tourindochina russia has more land area though than china. It's area is so large that you can fit 3 united states inside of it. The Eastern part of the globe is huge compared to the Western part.
