God/Jesus/Buddha bless you Andrea MacDonald and YogaYak. I keep on returning to this, as I keep on returning to dukkha (life, eh?). It is so beautifully paced, narrated, and put-together. Big Love, Steve

Yoga may push away sadness for an hour or so but I wouldn't recommend it for cases of depression. If you're interested, here are the four REAL keys to happiness:

I really enjoyed this class, and also love the geese and other birds going in and out the scene. My cats often accompany me during my yoga practice and it makes me happy.

@Foblo4 i love it too!!

I enjoy watching you, but from an instructional point of view, it would be useful to see how a typical inexperienced person can properly execute more primitive forms of these stretches. As you know, a beginner will strain himself and learn bad form by expecting himself to mirror his instructor one-to-one. In reality, each move has constituent steps, and it is these that need more focus in typical yoga instruction.
These are just my 2-cents as a layman.

@psilogon Very good points and great timing! We are redoing the YogaYak website and will endeavour to better develop our "poses explained" section. More precisely, each of the poses should be listed and linked to a video explaining the proper way to perform them. The current "poses" section can be seen here yogayak d*t com/category/video/poses/
