According to Olly's Brother,he wasn't really drunk and was just acting like this because he thought that was what people were expecting him to be like. i.e very pissed.

Also,somebody who worked on the show that night says he was sober but acted like this because he was annoyed at the people backstage who stopped him from having a drink.

All the same,it was a legendary performance from the great man.
