  • how does the potomac pack up?? anything like down??

  • @codya95 -- It is synthetic and with the additional layer for winter, it is pretty bulky. Only packs down to about the size of a cheap sleeping bag at Walmart. But, it sure it warm!

  • Hey Tony I also have a blackbird hammock and love it,So how do you like the camo burrito oven? Ever since I Have switched to a hammock I go backpacking so much more, there is nothen better when you are backpacking and wake up nice and rested.

I am also on hammock forms there is a world of info there, its also a great sight to meet other hammock campers. have a great day.

  • @fustratedfisher Sorry that I didn't respond sooner. I like my burrito oven when the temperature dips below 35 to 40 degrees. It holds in just enough heat to help me be more comfortable. It it breathable. So I have never had any condensation issues. When it's over 40 degrees, I don't use it. I like the cool air in my face.

    Thanks for asking.

  • Great video! The captions are really funny! Thank you.

  • I just ditched my tent for a hammock when I camp in the mountains and won't be going back! I switched for the space/weight benefits but was amazed how much better I slept. As long as you have trees around the hammock beats a tent hands down. A foam mat is awkward, and a heavy duty space blanket is a cheaper option for insulation.

  • dont know what id rather be a bear borito or a bear pancake ,cant make up my mind ,think im gonna have to go with which will be a less painfull death

  • try a little string to ya pillow. an tie it above ur head in the back. it will help keep the pillow in place. so when u get in & out. u don't have to mess with it. :-)
