Actually I was talking about the big Koopa at the end (too). Same materials. And when faced straght and lit from the camera it looks as if it was Lego but again: Printout on cardboard, two strings and a piece of Lego taped on the backside (= for having some weight when keeping balance when in the air)

its a printout that was glued onto a cardboard and then cut out. actually just like the other in-game sprites but a lot bigger

thanks! in fact, it's spelled KOOPA but hence it was an ad for an imaginary money bank i thought it was much more likely that a somewhat respectable bank would bear the name "cooper"

one very long afternoon. about 6 hours of animation, 2 hours of cutting out the pieces and two days post production.
