:'( all he ever wanted to do was to fit in,but no-one bothered with him, you can tell he wasn't a bad kid, he just wanted to be treated like every one else, and like the top comment says, no-one chooses to be a bad guy,the ppl and the world makes you into a bad guy. because people judge you before even knowing you.

i really find megamind's life as a kid sad.

I find it funny that they slipped Metro's lifelong 'dream' in there, as he's playing music to the class. Subtle, Dreamworks, subtle indeed.
