This excerpt is taken from a documentary film on the construction of Martin Pasi's Opus 14, It shows the bevelling, rolling and soldering of the metal for an organ pipe. This segment was filmed by Mike Cousino in the Pasi Organ Builders shop in Roy, Washington. Part 5 of 6.

  • I am cutting. The first cut is a right angle cut to clean the surface. I realize that this sometimes goes too fast to really see all the details.

  • How come at 0:14 you slide the planer along but dont cut?

  • A fascinating combination of skill, artistry, and patience! Should be required viewing for every serious organist!
