  • Its not clear from this clip, But is Dunbar flat, ie no -hills. I want somewhere in this general area for a holiday. Berwick is great, but not for a wheelchair user. Is there anywhere in this general area that is suitable, or do need to look further afield?

  • @romanbrough

Dunbar is reasonably flat, the only hill really being down to the harbours - not too steep. As with most of the east coast towns you'll get a hill down to the water. Go on Google maps then use "Street View" and you can have a virtual stroll around the town.

  • I am looking for a holiday location on in this general area. But it has to be flat. So I had ruled out Berwick on Tweed. Is this town suitable for someone in a wheelchair?

Or is there any other town in the same general area that is ?

  • Sunny Dunny!

  • Beautiful town. My great great grandparents, Samuel and Elizabeth (Robertson) Harrington had a shop at 138 High Street in the 1870's - 1880's where he was listed as a china merchant.

  • nice video - Dunbar harbour looks a nice place for taking photos!
