Do I like new urbanism? Yes.
However in every new urbanist community I've seen. Prices are not affordable to middle or lower class people.
I don't think this is a problem of the new urbanist movement so much as the time of the movement. You see more new urbanist communities = higher supply = less rarity = less demand.
However the fact is that the cost of houses in new urbanist communities are currently a luxury item only bought by upper middle class people.
