it's usually only asian immigrants who find the need to come up with "nicknames" to make it easier for others. and who can blame them? especially with everyone else butchering their "real" name. however, in your original statement, you gave the impression that ALL asians have fake western names for no good reason. and seriously, "orientals"? you know most asians find that annoying right?

@r3i123 the whole point though is that most orientals DO HAVE western nicknames, and they just invent them because they know that westerners and non-Orientals would find it too difficult to pronounce their proper Oriental names.

@RJSyeah I'm asian and I have both a western name and a chinese name. Both are my birth names, NOT NICKNAMES..that makes my western name just as real as my chinese name. that's the common practice for asians born in western countries. got it??
