The companies who are stealing money for headphones are companies like Razer and come up with some mumbo jumbo 7.1 BS with 10 drivers and call it technical marvel.
These are premium headphones with premium price, totally reasonable.

@TRontheThinker7701 Were the heck did you get the idea im a kid. I'm a 22 year old graduate from Rochester Institute of technology, and I would never spend $1400 on a pair of headphones (I don't have $1400 too spend on on something non essential anyway) a good pair of headphones dose make music/movies more enjoyable (at least too me anyway). My faveret pair of headphones I have are a pair of grado sr225s and they sound astronomically better than something for 7/11 but that's just my opinion.

@tv321123 Kid, just admit you're brainwashed. You know you'd enjoy your tunes just as much if you were listening to them through a pair of "crappy" headphones. These audiophile companies are STEALING YOUR MONEY by BRAINWASHING. These things aren't worth it. They're just as good as anything you an get at 7 11 for Christ sake. I hope your parents monitor your spending habits closely to ensure you aren't wasting your hard earned bucks on utter crap.

Holy mother of God, is this what people spend their money on? Giant overpriced headphones that aren't worth it anyway? LOL! I'd laugh my ass of at anyone who'd consider buying these nerdy ass clunkers. Clearly there head ain't on straight. How about investing that money in something worthwhile, like a trust fund (if they have kids), or a new car? I'm just fine sticking with my $2 Sony things I picked up at Walgreens. All I need, all I want. Just as good as these so called "Audiophile Grade"...

MEGO!!!

@derbigpr500 No it's not. Either your'e comparing a low quality mp3 with a HQ FLAC or we're talking placebo effect. There is very little difference between 320 and FLAC when the recording is done well. There is a difference for sure, but it's not apparent on first listen. The differences I get are In the treble (resolution up there increases and the high notes are more effortless) and a tiny bit in resolution and soundstage - i think.
-
@Satfgk Its pretty easy to notice the difference between FLAC and Mp3, even you dont have very sensitive ears of very high quality headphones.

AKG K702 and you'll be more than ok :)
The question is.... "Will it blend?"
