  • @chuckschilling Well said bro and sooo true!

  • @korney69 I was born at Aberdeen Proving Ground and I used to see them there to! Underage and with a fake ID of course,,,lol! The things you could get away with back then! You know Carey Kress the lead singer ( although not on this album ) passed away in '09?

  • Great band! The Sandbar, Stardust, Univ of MD Ballroom, the Bayou. Great times!

  • Awesome! I was stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground 77-80 and I remember going to see Facedancer at Junior's Inn just up the road! Those were some great times! Thanks for posting!!!

  • this song popped in my mind, so i looked for it. i was also at the stardust inn.

  • circa 1980 the band playing the night I met my hubs, 31 years ago, southern md, Stardust Inn, that place rocked!

  • What the REAL shame about Face Dancer was they couldn't hold the original line up together for just their second album, and then of course the only thing getting any airplay at the time was disco.. sad innit?

  • Me and my then-boyfriend used to makeout to this.

  • To quote Will Munny, "deserve's got nothing to do with it." Enormously deserving bands have been denied commercial success and fame while enormously undeserving bands have reaped ill-gotten wealth and notoriety ever since there's been commercial music - oh, for the last seven hundred years or so. Does it suck? Sure does, but there's nothing new about it.

  • I got married in 1984. Forever Beach and Red Shoes were among the songs played by the DJ at my reception.
