Please tell me How can a 30 yr old grown woman with a child, go back to sounding and singing songs she did when she was 14, 15? Move on. Brandy has become her own since those days and u should respect that, she sounds way better now and can do way more with her voice now so whyw ould u wanna change that? lol SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SANGIN.. listen to Fullmoon or Afrodisiac.. or even Human.. those albums are better then her first lyrically vocally and production wise.. I love how she explained that she can't re-create those albums exactly like how they were, because those albums are, like she said, set in stone and served the purpose for the era of music that she was in during that period of her life. It would be taking steps back and be repetitive and boring if she went back to doing the same thing all the time.

Brandy's last album 'Human' didn't show case all the talent she has inside. I've been a huge fan of brandy because of her true vocal abality, however i feel that since she is a grown woman her music should accomidate that as well. I would like to her more adult songs.

as fans we hear something and want the artist to be that way forever. prime example, when kris kross got older it seemed like nobody cared anymore because they were adults. MUSIC as a whole is dying out. it's not these artists. sound changes with time. new jack swing was good for late 80s early 90s. the gangsta phase in hip hop was good for the 90s. everything has its time. i want mariah carey to sing the way she used to but nothing stays exactly the same. i learn this as i get older and im 24.
