Gov Schwarzenegger VETOES AB 2072!!!!!

omigosh!!! just got word that our governor VETOED AB 2072 much to my delightful surprise! Good job all of us! Good job Arnie! Here's where the information came from (via Sheri):

Wonderful news!

So, the bill is dead completely? In MA, if a bill is vetoed then it would go back to the Legislature but a 2/3 vote is required to override a veto. I hope that the bill is completely dead!

@jpviews Sure, there is the possibility of the veto being overturned. The huge bad budget crisis makes that unlikely, I think. Arnie and the legislature are deadlocked with that...in his message, Arnie said can't risk duplicating (using up money) for AB 2072 if he signs it. Also, as far as I know, I am not aware of any rumblings / threats to overturn it. We shall see soon. Oh also, elections are coming up early November.
