  • Hi, i'm a fan of your videos but i'm stuck with the differences between the mixtrack and the mixtrack pro, could you help me out please !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Hegage1 The pro version comes with an in-built soundcard so you don't have to buy it separately, the pro also has cue points instead of EQ kills (which are muuuuch better). They're the main points but a Google search will give you some more details.

  • I love your vids dude its all explained very well, oh and 1 question in this track when you bring in the "hold on" the beats are out of time, if i put them in time it wont double drop righ..

    keep up good vids.

  • @hellblazer9988 VirtualDJ doesn't always predict the tempo of the tracks to the right beat. Especially seeing as Dubstep has half-step drums, the software could set the markers to any part of the beat. The trick is to press sync before playing either of the tracks then using the pitch pend buttons or silver edge of the jog wheel to push into the correct time.

  • I used your Tutorial. Thank you mate, keep up the good work.

P.S. I went easy on the effects.

  • @kebberangh Yeah I already said I'm now very aware that I use BeatGrid far too much in these earlier videos.

  • @CiaranM246 Get Virtual DJ Pro and it should already be preset to Hot Cues

  • @CiaranM246 HA!!

  • @CautionCrisis man i bought the mixtrack pro with traktor le and it still comes with eq kills instead of hot cues :/ i cant set any cues and its bloody anoying! its pointless with out cues > i cant figuer out how to change the mappers either :( can u please tell me what to do? im going insane here

  • dude ur a monster :D

  • ude ur a fucking monster :D

  • @CautionCrisis I just ordered a MixTrack, I am not looking to use headphones because it's just for fun at friends parties, do I need a seperate sound card just to plug it into "speakers" instead of plugging in headphones and speakers? I'm wanna do "waveriding" so to speak, without buying a sound card because it's too late as I've already ordered the MixTrack.

  • @Hegage1 If you haven't already made a purchase, save some money and go with the idj3 and a nice midi controller like the akai lpd8 or a korg nanopad. Having the built-in sound card in the idj3 is so much more convenient than not having one and/or having to purchase one for the mixtrack.

  • When Mixing songs , do we need to check weather it's suitable for the two song to play together ??

  • @TheWinGame Then its just a normal Numark Mixtrack, and not PRO

  • @Hegage1 @CautionCrisis the eq kills on the Mixtrack can be remapped to be hotcues and a Mixtrack + Audio 2 DJ Costs about the same amount as a Mixtrack Pro and some would say that the Audio 2 DJ provides higher quality sound but it's negligible if your speakers aren't very high quality. This is useful information though, because if you already have a sound card, getting a Mixtrack Pro would be a waste and you shouldn't be worrying about not having hot cues as the controls are all remappable.
