Played on vented natural trumpet in modern D with accompanying Music Minus One CD. As some of Purcell's orchestral music (e.g. Ode to St Cecilia, 2nd trumpet), the part is deceptively difficult on nat, due to the changing intervals in the 1st movement and the downwards jumps in the second mvt. On the other hand, the runs are easier than they look!

  • Can you tell me if this Tunes in 440 Hz even so in 415Hz are to buy for?

Because i play in 415 hz.

  • @robertmai64 Unfortunately, all the CD's in the Minus One series I have are in 440 Hz and most at a tempo I do not like and on modern instruments...

  • This Night i play at a German Beerparty. Polka Waltz tatakatatata and so. I hear this and come down on my Planet Barockmusic. Very Good I feel Good now! 10 Points from Germany!

  • @robertmai64 Thanks a lot! Now my goal is to do like you and gradually use less the ventholes and play more authentic; but this is difficult and the road is long...

  • Brilliantly played!

The orchestra was in rare form too (very dumb joke!). You have excellent control of that rather temperamental nat trpt.

An instant favorite! Thanks for playing - AND hiring the band!
