  • why did zx games have such crappy sound effects?

  • because spectrum(48k version) hasn't a sound chip but a beeper

  • i played this back in the day until my spectrum tape wared out... total awesome when you think it was 48k game....

  • yeah, it's incredible what programmers made

  • this was a good version of the game, it kept the whole feel and playability of ghosts and goblins but just didn't have the visuals and sound

  • yeah, it's not a bad version but sometimes i miss some foes you play at coin-op

  • It sounds like someone's farting when you kill an enemy.

  • Anyway is far better than CPC version

  • i played it on zx spectrum 128k, it was scary and tough game to play i was 7, now 27 :(

  • Zombies farted when the died and Spectrum was awesome.

  • i dont give a nats left testicle for graphics. Spectrum had playability screaming from every orifice.

  • looooool @ 1:25

  • That sound is the sound of God.

  • @RichXbox360 unprogrammable brick? Try Edge of Disgrace from Booze Designs to see what this unprogrammable brick is capable to. Or Mayhem in Monsterland, Turrican 1-2, Turbo Charge, Last Ninja series, Retrograde etc... There are so many fine programmed games on the C=64, so your comment fails! Btw, the C=64 was designed for videogames.

  • @Corad4, C=64 is actually much more colorful and has a nice soundtrack as well. I gotta say it's very playable as well.

  • I love the Chameleon-effect, hehe.
