Sam Gammon got his start with technology early. Armed with a laptop by the age of 6, he started with basic web design and worked his way up to architecting full-scale applications, both for work and play. He has been involved in California's political scene since age 15, starting with an internship with State Senate President Darrell Steinberg, and culminating this past election season as a social media consultant for the Jerry Brown campaign. His best known work is perhaps Growlie, the first Google Wave robot written outside of Google, released only two days after Google Wave's announcement and featured in the social web blog, Mashable. In his limited spare time, Sam enjoys finding more efficient ways to sort a million 32-bit integers, to the horror of his friends. He is also an Eagle Scout, and has taken numerous positions in the Young Democrats of America.
